November Learning And Earning Breakfast
We had a fabulous second breakfast with presentations from Lisa McCall and Rob Stewart of New Zealand Home Loans and Tara Hurley from Martelli McKegg.
With the attendees listening with great attention we learnt about managed loans and how to reduce debt quickly and leverage our debt profile and property portfolio. We learnt how to own more than just the doorknobs of our house quicker than a traditional bank mortgage (did you know that was french for death grip? mort – death and gage – grip).
Tara then walked us through the pitfalls and clauses of a simple sale and purchase agreement. Simple on first glance but how many of us actually read through all the clauses? There were some interesting ones and she gave us for free some appendices we should all consider adding before buying a property.
